I made a photography portfolio because I love taking photos and wanted to show them in a visually appealing way. I used Wix as I was already familiar with the program and it was a competent enough program. After taking photos I attempted to make an appealing gallery that portrayed my photos appropriately.
The Logo Project
When I created this logo I started with my initials, J.R. when I drew them together it left a triangle space in which I could put an A, my middle initial.
I learned many skills in Illustrator and Photoshop. I learned how to use the morphing tools, and manipulate the pen tool.

When creating a brand it is important to make an interesting logo that catches the eye while explaining the basic purpose of your logo.

Black History Month

This project entailed using Photoshop, or illustrator to display a utopia or dystopia, or a visual aid to the civil rights movement which influenced the creation of Black History month. In Sara Price's humanities she had her students read "A Brave New World" which focuses on a dystopian society while Stephen's class studied the civil rights movement. I incorporated the civil rights voting act into my project.

Reflection of Project
At the beginning of this semester I didn't know how to use Photoshop at all and now I can refine images, use most of the basic tools, copy and paste many images onto another image.

This project involved changing a face by changing the hair and eye color, and using the warp tool. I used Adobe Photoshop to make these changes which are displayed in the photos above. I had to change to hair color by creating a new layer, then I selected
