Math Reflection
2nd Semester
This second semester I had a lot of trouble with the new topics and I didn't advocate for myself and therefore my grades fell greatly. I had a lot of trouble with the POWS and I got scared of turning in things after the due date then I never turned them in.

During our unit that took up most of the second quarter we focused on learning the basics of expected value, the aspects of false positives, and area models. We learned about expected value because it relates to the way insurance companies find how much they will charge based on how much they make, we learned about rugs/area models because they are a great way to find probability. The reason we learned about false positives is because it relates to people’s conditions in a lot of ways.
Personal Growth
I feel that my understanding in math has increased exponentially in many subjects such as, graphing, using calculators, curve fitting, in and out tables, families. In the beginning of the year I was 2 years behind and now I feel like I’m completely caught up. This year in math I have progressed farther than any other year.
